Resource Mortgage is a division of Resource Bank. Resource Bank was founded in 1988 and is a Virginia-chartered regional commercial bank based in Virginia Beach. Resource Bank currently has total assets exceeding $1 billion. Resource Bank is an affiliate of the giant Fulton Financial Corporation since 2004. Fulton Financial Corporation has a total of fifteen affiliates, and is a $13.7 billion regional financial holding firm as well as being the second largest commercial banking firm situated in the Third Federal Reserve District.
