First Financial Corporation offers many mortgage programs. Their Fixed Rate Conventional Loan comes in terms of thirty, twenty, fifteen, and ten-year terms. The Thirty Year Fixed Rate Mortgage is the most popular in the nation; you may find it worth looking into. However, the Adjustable Rate Mortgage is also a fine alternative. First Financial offers the Adjustable Rate Mortgage as a One Year ARM, 3/1 ARM, and 5/1 ARM. The first number on these terms refers to the amount of years that the loan will have a fixed interest rate. The second number (one, in these cases) refers to the number of years that must pass before the interest rate adjusts. First Financial also offers a 103% 5/5 ARM, which gives a borrower 103% financing. 103% financing is usually just enough to cover the purchase, down payment, and closing costs. First Financial also offers programs called Ind. Housing Fixed Rate, and ALT 97.
