Another staff member, Donna Roberts, has three years of lending experience with Capital Mortgage Company and is a Mortgage Loan Officer. Capital Mortgage Company has a pre-approval and pre-qualification process. So, what is the difference? Well, their pre-approval process is much more inclusive than the pre-qualification. Getting a pre-qualification with Capital Mortgage is pretty simple. The loan officer will ask you some questions and then provides you with a pre-qualification letter. With a pre-approval you will need to answer the same questions, complete all of the steps of a full approval, and then wait. It is more work, but a pre-approval can put you in a better negotiating position, much like a cash buyer.

Capital Mortgage Company was launched in October of 1996. Alan and Jannette Woods locally own it. Jannette is the Company’s President. She has over fifteen years of experience in the mortgage lending business, as well as several years in the banking industry.
