Associated Banc Corp is a bank holding company.  They are headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin and serve the states of Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota.  Associated Banc Corp was founded in 1970, but some of its member banks can trace their roots to the 1880’s and 1890’s.  Associated Banc Corp has a 35 year dividend growth record and has been in the Mergent FIS Handbook of Dividend Achievers.   The largest member bank, Associated Bank, N. A. has been given a Prime1 rating from Moody’s.  Associated Banc Corp presently employs approximately 5,000 people and has over 320 banking locations.

Their pretax profit was $370 million in 2005 and the hold approximately $20546 million in assets.  Paul S. Beideman is President and Chief Executive Officer of Associated.

Associated Banc Corp offers a variety of loan options for their clients.  One is the Equity Express loan for existing homeowners, which features a fixed APR secured by a real estate mortgage.  The client may apply online for this type of loan.  A home equity secured loan or a revolving line of credit are also offered.  Fixed rate loans are offered in 30/20/15 year terms, including conforming and jumbo type loans. Fixed rate FHA/VA, WHEDA, Guaranteed Rural Housing Loans, investment property loans, and second home loans are also offered.  Adjustable rate mortgages have a 2% annual adjustment maximum and a 6% lifetime adjustment cap.  The come in 1/1, 2/1, 3/1, 5/1, and 7/1 types where the initial rate is locked in for 1, 2, 3, 5, or 7 years and then adjusts.  These are available for first mortgages, investment property loans, second home loans and even debt consolidation.  These loans can be applied for online and Associated claims it may only take minutes to be approved.  Of course one may apply in person as well.  Associated Banc Corp also offers construction loans and non-conventional loans.
