Amegy’s loans are processed, underwritten and funded locally.  This provides faster service.  The majority of loans are maintained by Amegy Bank so the customer never has to deal with and out-of-state servicer.  Loan payments can be made y automatic deduction, in person, or by mail.  Amegy Bank offers several types of loans.  Among them are fixed rate with terms of 15, 20 or 30 years and a maximum loan amount of $300,700; Jumbo loans with either fixed or adjustable rates and a maximum loan amount of $300,700; adjustable rate loans of either the 1/1 (no rate change for one year) or 5/1 (no rate change for five years) type; also with a $300,700 maximum; a 30 year fixed or adjustable rate lot loan for purchasing your home site and a one-time close construction loan for building you home to provide construction financing and permanent financing with one set of closing documents and costs.
